I Built a Slide Windbreaker....

Now how do I play it?

I build a tenor slide wind-breaker for the Science Olympiad, as suggested by Don Shirer. I made it out of PVC pipe and it is 4' 2" long. I cannot hold it in the air to play it. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas (or if Don could tell me how he did it) on what to use as a stand to place the end on that would allow the outside tube to slide.

Also, I have all the notes of the C scale marked off, but G is the entire length of the tube and consequently the position is very far away from the others and creates problems in going between G and other notes. There must be another spot where I could get G as a harmonic, but I can't seem to find it. Any ideas?

Thanks everyone!
