Gronitz tubas are not new my friend. They have grown in popularity steadily since the introduction of the piston models I'd say, though their F's have always been well rated by those in the know. It has been predicted for some time that once a real big-name player (Al) gets on one, everyone will want one and the price will skyrocket.
