Alan is very happy with his Gronitz. He used this instrument for the auditions in Fort Worth, National and the New York Philharmonic along with his Miraphone 181 gold brass 6 valve F tuba. His is quite well in tune and has a great sound and, unlike the Yorkbrunner type instruments it likes fast air in the low register.
