I've played this piece 2 or 3 times - I don't remember anything difficult about it really. I believe it has a few high D's in it, but nothing else springs to mind. It may have a couple of short one bar solos and soli (with trombones) in the upper middle register.
As for which horn to use, I wouldn't take a BBb!
