Hi Jello!

I'd give it some time. I find with myself and my students that sometimes we don't give equipment enough of a chance before we start getting nervous about if it's going to work or not.

I would spend a good three weeks, with regular practice, and see how you feel then. Some mouthpieces you can tell right from the beginning that they're better than what you're using and some take time. Right now you are probably used to your previous mouthpiece and this one is feeling a little strange. After about three weeks, of only using this mouthpiece, you will probably feel different and will then be able to make a more educated decision if the mouthpiece is working for you or not.

Mike Finn has really hit the nail on the head with his mouthpieces. Of course any particular mouthpiece may not work for everyone, but I can say that he's especially had luck with the MF3 series. You've invested the money in the mouthpiece, give yourself some time to adapt.

Good luck!

Mike
