Assuming your horn is a piston horn, I changed the valve guides on mine (actually Mr. Tucci changed them and it was his idea) and it's great, although for some reason I had 2 changed about 2 years later. So, maybe these need to be changed like spark plugs. Hope this helps. Peace. ASG
