Rumor has it they've produced more than a couple hundred of these horns, which are ferreted away in a warehouse somewhere. Of the dozen or two that have leaked out, it seems very few folks (like two or three) are willing to say theirs is "a good one."
I don't think Mr. P. would take it personal if someone concluded the Bessons are bowsers, why are you doing it for him?? Are you earnestly searching for one of these tubas now? If you even managed to find one, would you be able to pick it up and say whether it was a clam or not??
