Hey Nate,
I have the strap going around the bottom bow (where I have a strap ring) and the other side around the top. I put my head and right arm thru the strap and the horn is nearly parallel to the ground with the bell facing to my left. I have the front action horn, if you have the top action you can probably still do it with the parallel idea and the horn facing to the right. Good Luck. ASG
