I believe the Grand Prize winners in each category win seven fun-filled days and six wild nights in the Super 8 Motel in Muleshoe, Texas, all-expenses-paid, of course.
Additionally, winners will be allowed to select a free tuba or euphonium from the non-functioning pile in the storage closet at the Middle School Band Hall.
2nd and 3rd prize winners will not have such lavish prizes bestowed upon, but I hear that they will be nearly as good. I believe a homeless shelter is involved, as well as an internship at a famous tuba store in NC.
But don't quote me on this. I have been known to be wrong on these things in the past.
