Chris
I recently travelled on Southwest with my PT6. People in the airport security where very curious as to what was in the bag. The Flight attendant was a BEAST and she was very short with me on the way to Chicago. I ran into some trouble traveling back from Chicago when i went through security again -- they made me play my horn (which I didn't mind :)) But the flight attendands where very nice the second time around and asked me for some inflight entertainment. My advice to you if you are travelling with a horn in a gig bag -- buy a ticket for in. I'd rather pay the extra money and have it next to me and know that it is not going to be damaged. If you are travelling with a hard case -- I don't know if you can fit it in a seat. I know when i flied it had to be in a seat with the seatbelt fastened. Hope some of this helps---have a safe flight.
