I would think that they would want to hear you take some solos on standards and then an original jazz works for tuba or other low brass.  I would think an impressive tape would include "oleo" or some other rhythm changes piece, a ballad that shows off your sound and soloing at a slow tempo, and a blues.  You see if you can get your hands on a copy of "meltdown" with John Sass (I think) and the meinl tuba sextet.  It sounds pretty cool and it has some solo breaks.  If you play euph, there's a piece entitled "elegy for mippy" thats pretty jazzy.  Hope this helps a little.  Good Luck!
