So during Christmas break in December I called Dave Fedderly and told him I was still having some trouble with a valve on my 2341. He of course said come on down and let's look at it. I then asked if I could bring a private student to look for a tuba and would Dave be willing to listen to this kid and give us an honest critique. The student was first chair PA All State as a sophomore last year. Dave of course said come on down. I have to come from Philly. We went down that week and Dave gave the student about a 45 minute lesson, and by osmosis I also got a 45 minute lesson. I have found that he always has time for everyone and loves to pass on his vast knowledge to whomever is interested. It's a two hour drive, but always worth every minute. I'm sure that any phone problem was an anomaly. This is one of the best and most satisfying music stores I've dealt with in 35 years.
