I personally went to Tech, and I can attest that there are SEVERAL non-majors in his studio/ensemble. Like was stated earlier, Mr. Morris is a great teacher, and he deals well with schedules, and time issues with non-majors. What you might also want to do is look at what your son wants to major in, then compare and contrast. Most of the non-majors at Tech are majoring in engineering, but the engineering program at Tech is really good, and is what the majority of people there do. Other schools with good teachers might have something else to offer that you son might like better. Just a thought.
