A DW 1 or 2 would probably be more to your liking. However, until you change the small-shank receiver on the Imperial for a large-shank model, you're going to be limited to the DW mouthpieces for "off the shelf" selection. After changing, then the Wonderful World of Mouthpieces opens up considerably for you.
That being said, I've always thought that the DW mouthpieces worked particularly well on the Boosey/Besson tubas...
