I just bought a M.W. F tuba (believe it's a model 46) and it has a weird serial number on the side of the 2nd valve rotor. The number looks like it was engraved with a cheap hand engraver. Is this normal for these tubas? I thought serial numbers are professionally stamped at the factory. Thanks for your help.
