Yeah I have had that tuner for over 5 years now. To tell you the truth, I am not all that crazy about that Boss tuner. I bought that with the ac adapter, costing (AT) $100. I have used the cheap Korg tuner and it does indeed read my low notes better than the Boss. And yes, I always keep the Boss on the low note setting. I will say that the Boss/Roland tuner is very durable and it has more options than the cheaper tuners.
