Sam, I'm no big fan of the big York EEb as such, but they're great for parts. I don't doubt that there are good examples of the Holton product, just that I'haven't found one yet.
Which kind of goes toward answering the poster's question doesn't it? The Universal Truth--there are good horns and bad horns and sometimes they'll have the same name on the bell.
