Depends on what you confider easy slide usage. Fast and light as a trombone? Smooth and easy, but stays in place once moved?

I got this idea from Rick Denney's web site (Thanks Rick!)
White lithium grease works well. Available at automotive supply stores. Provides quick, smooth first valve slide action. The slide moves easily, but stays in place until moved again.

Also, have the alignment of the slides checked. If you have noticable wear marks on one side of one, or both, of the inner tubes, then it's the alignment. Have it checked by a pro. It's worth a few bucks to prevent damaging the slide or stocking tubes. Your pro can tune the slide action to your liking. (Align, lap, polish/buff and relube)

Good luck,
DavidK
