I like regular hagerty's silver polish. I get mine at Bed Bath and Beyond. As for the replating. I was quoted between $2500-3000 for an overhaul and dent work on a king sousa, so I'm guessing it would be close for your 5/4. Silver plate is usually by the square inch and really jacks up the price. Nice to hear you found an old horn that you like though!
