Looking at the ad in more detail, I suspect collusion at some level. Any broker should be holding items for 30 days to begin with. Furthermore, they would do at least a few minutes worth of research to find out the actual price level of this horn and come up with a bit more appropriate opening bid and/or pricing scheme.

Maybe they are scrupulous however, they follow Joe S's bidder policy on feedback!
