I bought a stolen tuba from a Pawnshop. The rightful owner heard I had just purchased a tuba. He called me and we determined that I did indeed have his horn. The police detective in charge of pawnshops called me, I QUICKLY gave the horn over to the police. They issued a reciept to me and I got my money back from the pawnshop. The detective was pretty ticked at the pawnshop. He told me to call him if they hassled me about the money. I don't know if the rightful owner got his horn back. His insurance had already paid to replace the horn. The original theft was 4 months before I purchased the tuba.
