Hey Jerome! How are you?

A couple of ideas here...

Bernel publishes a piece that John Manning commissioned a few years ago by a guy named Vinicio Meza and the piece is called Retratos. Four movements for tuba and piano. It's got a couple licks and stays pretty much in the "cash register."

The latin piece that I've really wanted to do, though, is called Vals Venezolano by Paquito d'Rivera. I heard it on a flute recital and it was HOT! It's probably really tough, but it's at least worth looking into. I'm pretty sure it's either written for (or transcribed for) flute.

Good luck and PLEASE let me know what else you find!

Take care,
Mark
