I don't know about the leadpipe, but my 1984 or '85 Cerveny had the shaped finger paddles and hollow rotors (lovely, fast rotors, too). It also had a noisy leak caused by a gap in the solder connection where the second-valve branch entered the valve knuckle ferrule. So much for quality control (and the touted professional play-testing provided by the dealer).
I played that think in band, orchestra, and quintet (all badly, of course), using a Parantucci Model 1 mouthpiece.
