Opinions, opinions, opinions. The John Williams is one of the most enjoyable concertos for an audience to listen to, and it is challenging for the performer as well. The closest challenge is Kraft Encounters, which is not all that fun for the average concert goer, and other "crowd pleasers" are Tubby the Tuba, not terribly challenging for the performer.
Give yourself a few months to work it up and you may change your mind.
