I was still trying to write my convoluted description when you posted. I only meant they probably don't need to be as big as the the other holes you see on the piston ( bore size). Large drills and thin metal can be a nasty combination. I'm sure you know--The holes don't stay round and the workpiece won't stay put. Beware the Evil Drill Press!! She lies in wait for the unwary, ready to trash their work and very often their fingers, too. NO GLOVES.
