Why doesn't some one ASK one of the graduates from his studio. Stop bickering on stupid chatter and find out what they thought of their teacher. It's obvious the guys coming out can play, they wouldn't have gotten into the school if they couldn't, the question being dealt with is whether or not he was a good teacher and/or a good player.
I have my own opinion from talking to two of Paul's old students, but I'm not giving my own thoughts out. So stop defending a subject you don't know about and stop railing a subject you'd like to think you do.
