Word is Dale is not leaving. The CSO is taking on a fully titled co-principal. The chair recently vacated was Associate Principal. They have been seeking the same thing for trumpet. These positions defy filling. With all the superbly trained and highly experienced talent available, no one seems to be able to put themselves across in a 100% convincing audition. Is it the players, or the auditors too fussy beyond all reason?
