Sorry for the repeat post of this, but the original was while most students were back home for break.

I will have the need for a grad assistant in the tuba-euph studio (AT)Illinois State University beginning the Fall of 2000. The ideal candiate would be an excellent performer on tuba or euphonium, have a strong academic background, and have strong chops in a secondary area that would be useful to the department (i.e. Theory, Mus. Ed, Marching Band, Webmaster, blah blah blah)

Duties might include assisting with the daily function of the studio, performance in the Grad Brass Quintet, some applied teaching if I'm on the road, and probably another area within the department. Past T.A.s have managed our recital hall, taught a section of Music for Elementary teachers...

If you would like more details, please contact me. If you'd like to learn more about music at Illinois State University, go here: www.ilstu.edu/music

Thanks,
Dave Zerkel
