Don't apologize for announcing tuba-euphonium performances, even if it is "shameless self-promotion," as long as it's not commercial self-promotion. Announcements are one of the reasons I read this list. We should all want greater attendance at such events. Even if I can't go half way across the country to get to a performance, I like to know that they are happening.
