Roger is an absolutely amazing musician, and some of his students do exceedingly well.
Just make sure you actually visit GMU before you enroll. It is not a typical school. Its unusual traits tend to rub some people the wrong way, while others find something they've been searching for a long time. Don't forget, North Texas has a certain new euphonium professor, and enough bands for a huge euph studio.
