The PJBE postings reminded me that I had played this brass quintet piece on a tuba recital clear back in the latter '70s. The piece was written for John Fletcher and as I recall, I think it went from low G to high E (was there a high G involved?). Has anyone else had good success with this piece? I'm not sure how a more "general" audience would receive the piece. Typical of recitals, a lot of the audience were friends and family members.
