I have not heard that the PT-4P's are being dropped but that doesn't mean that it won't or isn't happening. Anyway, all of the B&S tuba piston valves are made at the same place so replacement or repair of the pistons won't be a problem. I honestly don't see that the re-sale value of the horn would be affected that much.
