Congrats on the Mahler One award, you were in tough company that year. I have a copy of this record, but it truly is shot. I had the jacket mounted under glass. Truly a collectors item. It may have the only extant recording of the Tomasi "To Be or Not To Be" available. I am suprised this work doesn't show up more on programs as it is a really intersting work. Were you at Michigan when Kabin Thomas did it? I believe he recited sections prior to the performance. BTW, I am sure you are aware that many orchestras(St. Louis being the most notable) that record and market their own recordings. Might want to present to your General Manager, makes a good fund raiser, too.
