Hey, Mike, that's not only very funny and witty, but...

reminiscent of a Bobby Shew (trumpet player) invention...

The "Shew Horn" is a double belled flugel horn which Shew does use to trade fours* with himself (on the album Trumpets No End). He had a harmon mute in one bell, with the other one open.... fantastic !!

* and individual phrases/notes, almost emulating a plunger open/closed effect.


'Nuff trumpet talk, normal transmission will now be resumed.
