If you can, have them it removed. When I was 20, I had all of my wisdom teeth removed (there were 3). The to lower ones were starting to break through, driving me crazy, and the upper one was just plain painful. An oral surgeon removed them, and within a week I was playing again. I had only minor swelling, no bruising, no "dry sockets." My dentist no longer pulls wisdom teeth, he refers them to oral surgeons, as he finds that there are less complications when this type of procedure is done by a specialist. The wisdom teeth pulling wasn't that bad; in the past two years I have had 8 crowns put in, and that really took some adjustment.
