I bought my Dolly Bag last January and absolutely love it. I know, I know this bag is one of the safest gig bags available. The hard plastic inserts which guard all sides, even the arching corners of the bottom bow help protect a horn from pretty much anything. I think I could take a steal rod and even if I pushed it into the side of my bag the panels would simply stop it. For the money, no, in any arena, this bag is safer.
The company is out of their garage, or I think that's where they produce the bags.
Last time I checked they sold both top opening and side opening bags.
