I read your message last night and had to give it thought before I
replied. My suggestion is to have a friend sit with you and a tuner
and see if this horn is really "in tune". It is a three valve horn and
I have never seen a three valve tuba that does not have to have slides
pulled to be in tune. In fact, unless it is a freak of manufacturing,
that should be impossible. The 1-2-3 combination and a tuner will show
you that. As to weather to buy the horn or not? If you like the horn
buy it. The price is good.
