Well nowhere really. There isn't as much music up there outside of the Eastman School. (RPO who has a great tuba player and teacher Jeff Anderson, he played a great Vaughn Williams with them) If you have a chance check out Jeff and Don as often as possible. Both Jeff and Don are real easy to find as far as lessons, but there isn't really much else up there. I think I only had a handful of gigs in the 2 1/2 years I was there. You could call the Main switchboard at Eastman (716-274-1000) and ask for someone in the Carreer planning and placement office and they might be able to give you some leads.
