In some cases, there are no cures for nerves. Nevertheless, there are ways to circumvent the problem. Winton Marsailles once said that he doesn't go on stage unless he's played the piece(s) ten times perfectly first. For me this has generally proven to be a good idea. Have your repertoire prepared to the highest level by a couple days before the audition, then spend those days doing fine tuning and run-throughs. The day before or on the day of the audition, run the piece three or four times in a row perfectly (or as close as you can get it), stopping once after the first time to go over anything you may have missed. This is a tried and true formula for success.
