A worrisome noise

I just started classes again 2 days ago after the winter break. About 1.5 weeks ago before the break was over, however, I noticed that my BBb Alexander is making a rattling noise on certain notes. It is somewhat present on the middle and high Bbs, even more so on the F at the top of the staff, and terrible on both Gbs bottom/top of the staff. The only thing I can think of is that it was subjected to cold for about 4 or 5 days without being played while I had the flu, but it wasn't THAT cold, only about 30º or so. I checked all of the screws, etc on the body of the instrument. The sound is not as severe when I place both hands around the bell when I play those open Bbs, but the tone ring seems to be secure. It's VERY noticeable during my practice sessions and is VERY distracting. Any suggestions?
