aloha y'all,
i was wondering if anyone out there has any tips on circular-breathing, if that is what it is called. the other tuba player in school does this by filling his cheeks with air and using it as a reserve while he is taking a breath but i seem to have trouble with this technique. i can take a breath and everything but when i try to come back in there is a slight pause and then i start playing again. if anyone knows about this please reply, we are playing a iece that has like 18 or 19 bars of one sustained note and i really want to get this down. thanks.
