As far as prices go....you get what you pay for. Bach mouthpieces are considerably cheaper....and considerably inconsistent. I firmly believe that if you ever have a Bach mouthpiece that you like, keep it, because you'll never find another one EXACTLY like it.
The Miraphones, Dillons, Perantuccis, etc are a lot more consistent and offer a lot more options for a specific player/application.

Play a lot....don't get caught up in the "who plays what" game....play what works best for you!
