I have played five 56's and two 52's. The 52 has a lighter sound, but I did not notice it being any easier to play than the other. Please keep in mind that I use a CC for everything, so I am very picky about high register. If I had an F tuba to play for very high stuff, I would love to have one of these for everything else.
