Winston Morris has a cousin in Indiana(who's name currently slips my mind). He, at one point, was apparently a very fine tubist, good enough to get him a stint with one of the big navy ensembles. Sometime during his Navy career, he got into a bar fight, and lost both of his front teeth, and was unable to play after that. He now works a managerial job at a retail store.

Just one of many stories I've heard that emphasize how important it is for us wind musicians to take care of our mouths. Our face to our tuba is essentially what I violinist's bow is to his violin.... Some Violinists have been known to spend upwards of $50,000 on a violin bow... depending on the seriousness of our carreers, we should place the same amount of value on our faces.
