I tried this horn at the Midwest Convention about a month ago and I liked it best out of all the horns I had tried. It's very full, smooth, and resonant, yet does not have any of the stuffy or hard-to-form-notes characteristics of other large CCs. The only downshot is that it doesn't cut as well as a 186 or 188. Other than that, a great horn to look into.
