The standard compensating euph or tuba is what the hornists call a compensating double. The hornists rarily use compensating double horns because they are stuffy and not quite as well in tune as full double horns. I have never heard of a full double euphonium and have been tempted to have Gronitz make one. However, I have not decided what to make yet.
Alexander makes full double Wagnerian tubas which are in Bb/F and are only slightly smaller in bore than a euphonium.
