Fred Marzan came from Pittsburgh and was a fair tubist about 45 years ago. I met him several times when he came back to East Liberty. He had various tuba companies make tubas for him with little inovations like a set of slanted valves or two 5th valve slides. Frankly, I would take care in matters involving anything having the name Marzan attached!
