You might be interested in an Amati small bore, three-valve trombone in C (and an extra tuning slide to B flat). I special ordered one, and when it arrived I was amazed at the beautiful workmanship and quality of this horn. Even the case was high quality. The price was a little over $600. In C, it's pitched only a minor third below the alto.
