Good euph lit for tuba players

At the Army Tuba Conference I heard some really fine euphonium playing. Much of the music was written for artist-grade euphonium players, and I have no real interest in adding that music to my collection of tuba solos that I can't play. But I'm inspired to play by beat-up Besson more.

Are there suggestions for compilations of etudes and solos that may require a lot of musicality but not necessarily the high euphonium range? What about cello music? Is it typically written in concert pitch in the bass clef? Bassoon solos?

I'm looking for a list of euphonium music appropriate for an amateur tuba player doubling on euphonium. The lists that I see in the catalogs don't tell me what's appropriate and what's not. Tuba solo music played up an octave usually goes too high.
