I have seen or used the previously mentioned cleaners, but my personal use is Hagerty's Silver Foam. Non-abrasive, easy to hose off. Keep in mind my tuba is a satin-silver 1922 Holton 6/4 and it works better to clean it out in the grass with a hose. Comes out beautifully every time.

I did purchase an older bright silver tuba that someone else had used the spray Hagerty's silver polish and they didn't remove the residue well, leaving black residue packed between the tight spots. Gradually I am getting the crud out of there.
